THE WHY

In our disciple-making ministries, we serve the homeless and the recovery community and do a ton of work with gang violence interruption. I don't know of anyone in our city who is at that crossroads with us in the same way.

CURRENT PRAYER NEEDS

Currently pivoting to a more discipleship-intensive approach to all ministry. Giving and leadership support.

We are a group of ordinary people living out the extraordinary story of God the way Jesus shows us.

RECENT STORY OR TESTIMONY

Jamal (not his real name) came to us after his prison release. His history of drug addiction and gang violence made him reticent to trust, and he felt as if he might be shamed in a church. Through both our recovery and gang outreaches, he came to Story Church. His story is not finished, and while there have been some slips along the way, he is currently sober, working, and sensing a call to ministry after recommitting his life to Jesus. He's exactly the kind of person to whom God has called us, and we're so honored to love and serve him as we walk alongside.
